Happy Summer Camp

• Applicant: Individuals or groups, ranging from the ages of 6-15. Students will be divided according to their Mandarin proficiency; no experience is also acceptable.
• Location: National Taipei University of Education. 106, No.134, Sec. 2,Heping E. Rd., Taipei (located near MRT Technology Building Station)
• Class Size: Each class will have a minimum of eight (8) students and a maximum of twelve (12) students.
• Duration:
  • Session I: 2016/06/27 (Monday) to 2015/07/22 (Friday)
  • Session II: 2015/07/25 (Monday) to 2015/08/19 (Friday)
• Class Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:50
• Application Deadline: Until all sessions are full.
• Remarks: If you apply to transfer from Happy Summer Camp to Elite Summer Camp after the commencement of classes, you need to pay the difference in price.

Elite summer camp

1. Applicant: Individuals or groups, ranging from the ages of 10-15. Intermediate level in Mandarin listening, speaking, reading and writing is required. Students who are interested in improving improving practical Mandarin and advanced Mandarin through Classic Mandarin literature. (Those who have participated in CLEC summer camp twice or more will be prioritized.)
2. Location: National Taipei University of Education. 106, No.134, Sec. 2, Heping E.Rd., Taipei(located near MRT Technology Building Station)
3. Class Size: Each class will have a minimum of eight (8) students and a maximum of twelve (12)students.
4. Duration:
   • Session I: 2016/06/27 (Monday) to 2016/07/22 (Friday)
   • Session II: 2016/07/25 (Monday) to 2016/08/19 (Friday)
5. Class Hours: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 15:50
6. Application Deadline: Elite Summer Camp accepts only one class each session of students who are deemed most suitable by experienced CLEC Mandarin teachers based on the writing and speaking materials they provide during application.
7. Notices:
   1. The Courses of Elite summer camp will be relatively challenging and contains a large amount of reading/writing/speaking/listening practices. Culture study class will be relatively less and P.E. class is included every day to ensure students get adequate amount of physical activity. Parents/guardians may take the previously mentioned into consideration before applying for your child.
   2. To minimize the Mandarin lingual ability in class, applicants will be chosen by experienced CLEC teachers based on the submitted writing/oral material.
   3. All the students admitted to Elite Summer Camp are checked by CLEC on their Mandarin ability. If the student fails to adapt to the course or need to drop out for personal reasons, he or she may choose to ask for refund or transfer to Happy Summer Camp. If Happy Summer Camp is full by then, CLEC will only provide the option of refund (based on disclosed CLEC refund policy.) There will be no refund for price differences if one chooses to transfer to Happy Summer Camp.
   4. Whether or not the applicant is admitted to Elite Summer Camp, he or she will receive an email to announce the results.
   5. If you apply to transfer from Elite Summer Camp to Happy Summer Camp after the commencement of classes won't refund the difference in price.
